Welcome to Roland Michener Public School! We are happy to have you stop by and learn a bit about our school.
We are a Kindergarten to Grade 6 school that serves 215 students and their families. We offer two year bilingual Kindergarten and English (grades 1-6) programs for our students. We celebrate diversity, equity, and inclusivity within our school and offer programs and supports that enrich the lives of our students academically, socially, and extracurricularly.
Roland Michener has a wonderful team of caring and dedicated educators and support staff who build strong readers and writers, thinking mathematicians, inquiring scientists and socially curious learners. Acceptance, mindfulness, fitness, creative opportunities, community and global awareness and action as well as environmental stewardship are some of the important values we strive to develop in our students as we build a spirit of acceptance and celebration.
Due to our small size, the children have many opportunities to participate in multi-aged group activities which has contributed to our strong and welcoming community. We enjoy our diversity and thrive in a multi-lingual multi-cultural environment.
